Wynn Las Vegas
, the $2.7 billion resort from Steve Wynn opened April 28th, 2005. The opening of the new Wynn Las Vegas resort is so hyper-hyped; it's not even being called an opening: It's a WORLD PREMIERE!
Why all the fuss? The Wynn Las Vegas is the first mega-casino to open on the Vegas strip in five years. In the commercial, Steve Wynn announces, as he stands 50 stories atop the hotel, "This is my new hotel, the only one I've ever signed my name to."
Like Mr. Wynn, Glen Traeger signed his name. Glen signed his name on a contract to perform at the Wynn Hotel during the grand opening week of this multi-billion dollar casino resort facility. Glen Traeger and his Orchestra have been performing and recording nationwide and had rapidly earned a reputation for being THE ULTIMATE PARTY BAND.
The fact that Glen Traeger and his Orchestra were requested to fly to Las Vegas for a performance at one of the hotel’s first major event in their Grand Ballroom with Steve Wynn as the special guest speaker, is an indication of how Glen’s reputation has spread. “My recipe for success is very simple. I assembled my orchestra by recruiting the most talented musicians,
vocalists, and performers. These highly-acclaimed individuals have appeared and recorded worldwide with artists such as Destiny’s Child, Earth Wind and Fire, Aretha Franklin, Quincy Jones, R. Kelly, Gladys Knight, Patty LaBelle, Ramsey Lewis, James Taylor, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and many others! There is nobody else that does what we do. We are totally unique. The Glen Traeger Orchestra set a new standard for high energy musical performances.”
